Asset Overview

**Micaceous Sandstone (Sedimentary):** This sandstone was formed underwater as layers and layers of sediment built up on top of each other. The grainy texture is caused by the individual grains of sand which makes up this rock. The sparkly appearance of this rock is a result of the higher than average content of muscovite mica, a form of mineral.
