Asset Overview

This site was last inhabited in 1806 when the Spanish controlled lands South of the American River. This bay tree was here and much as it is now. The Volvon people were force to be missionized, flee, or hide. This mortar has not been moved or been tampered with for more than 200 years. Many sites were deliberately damaged then and after. The history of the Bay area was not a history of tolerance, but of subjegation and genocide. This was a center point of someone's home life. Shot with Sony 5100 Infinity February, Livermore California
