Monocular-Geistspire

This is for the "Imagine And Create A Sustainable Future" compitition. This creature/habitat is a monocular-geistspire of the kingdom biotronican. It generates energy by focusing light through it's eye onto photovoltaic cells. Spirageists are mainly multi-unit, predominantly photosynthetic self-assemblers. They can house anywhere from 24 to 512 inhabitants. It powerful legs that can propel it more that 50km or burrow into the ground for long term inhabitance. The geistspire can survive in nearly any climate due to its high energy conversion ratio and nearly non-existent waste production. The geistspire is self-assembling and materials are almost all processed material found on the assembly location. The monocular geistspire has survived unmodified for nearly 10,000 solar cycles.
