On July 5, 1930, a monument in the form of a polished granite block with a bronze plastic map of the battlefield was unveiled at the top of Žuráň. He let him set up the General Staff of the Czechoslovak Republic. Army at the initiative of French Marshal Louise Franchet d'Espey. The ceremonial unveiling took place in the Czechoslovakia. Minister of National Defense Vyškovský with generals Syrovy and Podhajský and representatives of the French government and army generals Mittelhauser, Faucher, Duffour and Le Blevec.
The author of the monument was the Prague architect Vojtěch Kerhart and the bronze casts were made by the artistic founder Karel Barták.
