Mother's baby dress

My submission for #AgisoftClothesChallenge My mother got this dress when she was around 1-2 years old. She used to live in Norilsk, where locals considered other parts of then USSR a "continent" while they were "stranded" with little connection to the outside world but ships and infrequent airplanes. These circumstances add a bit more background to the story of this Hungarian dress. Unfortunately, I can't ask my grandmother how exactly she acquired it. But it was quite hard to get an item of high quality made in the countries of the Soviet block and not a usually low-quality USSR made ones. I also reflect on the social status my mother's family used to have – money alone could not have bought such a nice thing in those times. I've recently made a photo of my daugther wearing the dress, so it serves the third generation already. Now, more as a memento and a family relic.
