Asset Overview

Skull of an adolescent (~18 years of age at death) probable male individual, from the necropolis of Mt. Bibele in the Province of Bologna. Individual comes form a IV-III century BCE population of mixed celts and etruscans. The area of the right frontal eminence has been cleanly cut away, possibly peri-mortem. If so, the cause of death of this young male would have been extensive cranial trauma most likely caused by a light sharp bladed weapon
