Asset Overview

*Project of Management GIS for PNC "Digital Earth Smart Governance", "Progetto e sviluppo di applicativi GIS per la valorizzazione del patrimonio archeologico e naturale. Il Parco Nazionale del CIRCEO" , * *SITE :https://demo.tecnostudiambiente.it/3D.html* Circeii's Acropolis is a monumental site (so great to think it was a Cyclops creation) situated 300 m above sea level in the historic center of San Felice Circeo (Latina, Italy). The wall, still visible today and consisting of limestone blocks 6 metres long (opus poligonalis), has an irregular quadrilateral shape and has two doors. It was built, probably, in the 4th century BC by Volsci population besieged by the Romans. It was a refuge in times of danger. The wall of the Arx, called the "west side", is the best preserved part of the wall.
