This [axe](http://vocab.getty.edu/page/aat/300024664) weighs 478g, has a symmetrical cross-section, damaged edges, asymmetrical blade and rounded, almost flat butt. The blade, sides, butt and faces are ground and polished. The sides are slightly splayed. The edge is heavily chipped, worn and blunted.
