Asset Overview

Bowl of type Troldebjerg, originally 26 cm wide at rim. Decorated with the caracteristic vertical band embellished with stamp impression, placed alternately on opposite side, like a zip fastener. The zipperband flanked on each side by vertical bands which are hatched. The fragment is 23x17 cm in dimension. The bowl found on the causewayed-enclosure Sarup II on Funen, Denmark. Dated to 3.200 BC the Funnel Beaker Culture. Found in a pit (number A3027) as a fragment of a bowl (50x32378). For 3D-presentation: 52 images with a Fuji XF10 camera, normal light in the office.
