Asset Overview
Following a site survey in March 2016 carried out by members of Avoch Community Archaeology (ACA) and the North of Scotland Archaeological Society (NOSAS), this 3d model of Ormond Hill has been produced. Many hitherto unknown features were recorded, adding to our knowledge of the site, which is far more complex than Beaton's plan of 1885 might suggest. Further investigation/excavation is planned.
