Asset Overview

Located in the Masonic section of Evergreen Cemetery, this tomb "stone" is actually made of wood, as you can see at the top of the marker, where the paint has chipped off. Otto Meves was born in 1827 and died in 1889. I have been unable to find much information on Mr. Meves, save for an account of a lawsuit against his wife (here: https://books.google.com/books?id=fbmZAAAAIAAJ&pg=PA1063&lpg=PA1063&dq=otto+meves+santa+cruz&source=bl&ots=5RRWU7cyrb&sig=Tm0SQC8U8KCgUdqDB9qYT63UjXA&hl=en&sa=X&ei=6JtFVaetOIStogSLtYHoAw&ved=0CDEQ6AEwAw#v=onepage&q=otto%20meves%20santa%20cruz&f=false)
