ES: Autor desconocido. Época: finales del siglo XVIII (1780-1790). Estilo: policromía valenciana, 129 cm por lado, 36 azulejos. Pavimento reinstalado en el Palacio de la Marquesa (Carcaixent). Algunas piezas han sido cambiadas de sitio. Panel cerámico en el que se representa a la diosa Asia, hija de Océano y Tetis, quien dio nombre al continente asiático. Por eso la representación con fisonomía oscura y su asidua cubierta con un parasol. Está enjoyada con perlas, pendientes y en la frente lleva una diadema. EN: Unknown author. Ceramic panel which represents the goddess Asia, daughter of Oceanus and Tethys, who gave its name to the Asian continent. This explains the representation with a dark physiognomy and its assiduous cover with an umbrella. She is bejeweled with pearls, earrings, and wears a tiara on her forehead.
