Paper Ball (free)

I created this scan for a request to check if this is possible at all. It is worth mentioning that the paper used is 40 micrometers thin. You can see that even with a resolution of 60 megapixels it is not that easy at some spots. For this 3D scan of a paper ball, 444 images from a Sony Alpha 7R4 were used. The raw mesh has 197 million polygons and a 8000x8000 texture. The Displayed Model has 1,5 Mio polygons and a 4000x4000 texture. Since I don’t think that this model would anyone purchase, I’ll give it to you for private use for free.
