This is a photogrammatried pumpkin on top a surface. The surface was made using pictures from my phone that I took of a carpet. The pictures were imported into Reality Capture and a model was made and then taken into maya to retoplogize it. I then baked out the high poly textures from Reality Capture using XNormals and placed on the low poly. A similar process was used to make the pumpkin. The pumpkin was taken using a DSLR camera, however the pumpkin would be too shiny to properly make a good model in Reality Capture so chalk spray was used to cover the model and reduce the shine during the photoshoot. Doing this means that once I imported it into Reality Capture I would not be able to get the textures so only the model was taken from Reality Capture. After making a low poly model in Maya, I created the texture by hand in Substance Painter using the picture of the pumpkin without chalk as reference.
