This public water fountain was scanned as part of the 2022 Pompeii Water and Sanitation Project field school run by the University of Missouri. This is the most recently excavated fountain found in front of the so called Thermoplium of Regio V (V.3). Behind this fountain is a well cistern and a water tower. What's remarkable about this fountain is that the lead water pipe is still in place, and you can clearly see traces of pouring water down the sides. The model was generated in Agisoft Metashape from 270 photos taken using a Nikon Z5. Photo alignment was run on high, as was model generation - model has been decimated for export, and made manifold for 3D printing.
