A quartz LeCroy (possible) projectile point (7600-7350 B.C.) recovered during the archaeological investigation of several precontact period sites along the Patapsco River in Anne Arundel County, Maryland by Richard Stearns and the Natural History Society of Maryland in 1949. LeCroy points are small, thin, and often serrated, with a deeply bifurcated base.
