A chert Potomac projectile point recovered during the 1943 archaeological excavation of precontact period sites along the Susquehanna River in Cecil County, Maryland by Richard Stearns and the Natural History Society of Maryland. Potomac projectile points are the smallest of the precontact period projectile points in Maryland and date to the Late Woodland period ranging from 1200 to 1700 AD.
