A robot with a story.
When the Dutch Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam was under construction, their works of art traveled around the world in wooden crates. After a decade the museum reopened and these lovely ‘Rijkswachters’ or guards were made out of the boxes which had protected the art for all those years. This little fellow stands gallant on the desk of Studio Pictobot, Ubi3D’s neighbor in our co-working space.
Photogrammetry model, pictures taken with Nikon D5300 and AF-S NIKKOR 35mm 1:1.8G lens, photos enhanced in Lightroom, processed in PhotoScan. Model cleaned up and decimated in ZBrush, retextured in PhotoScan.
