Rockley Blast Furnace, Birdwell, South Yorkshire (UK).
The furnace was built between 1698 and 1704, to make cast iron using locally mined ores and charcoal from the surrounding woodlands.
The original ashlar stonework that formed the outer structure has been progressively robbed, leaving the core of the furnace structure visible.
The furnace is owned by the South Yorkshire Industrial History Society .
