Asset Overview

It is a sacred sepulchral inscription devoted to Diana. The Aedicula could contain οr a Diana statuette, ο the urn containing the ashes of the deceased. The woman, who the parents put under the protection of the goddess, is undoubtedly a young daughter who died before the age of engagement. The paleography of the text and the typology of the monument appear to date back to a late Republican period.
