Fragment of Roman mosaic dating back to the 4th century A.D. from the archaeological site of Herdade da Fonte Coberta. The mosaic is decorated with two fish (brown eel). One of the eels is preserved almost entirely while the second specimen has only survived its final end. For its realization, white, pink, ocher, black and orange-brick limestone tesserae were used. It is currently preserved in the Frei Manuel do Cenáculo National Museum (Évora, Portugal). Catalog No. ME18319.
