This gauss rifle is a charge powered short to mid-range rifle that fires a bolt of electricity at directed target. The charge comes from a battery pack inserted and locked into the rear of the weapon behind the grip and in front of the stock. The circular dial on the side is what changes the power usage that the weapon uses from the battery. The rectangular screen next to it is how much charge is left in the battery. On the circular dial there are indicators from 1 to 4. Each setting drains that many bars from the battery power screen. The optic is built into the weapon and cannot be changed physically but the reticle inside can be changed if desired. The pistol attachment clips into the front of the weapon directly in front of the rifles grip and trigger. It uses plasma based rounds that are held inside the reloadable magazine inserted into the front bottom of the pistol. If desired there could be other attachments besides only a pistol (i.e., shotgun, rocket launcher, grenade launcher, etc.).
