Round-butted axe

Round-butted stone axe from Hallsberg parish, Närke. The round-butted axe is the most common axe type from the Late Mesolithic in Sweden, but they continue to be in use well into the Middle Neolithic. There appearence thus span a considerable timespan, c:a 5500-3000 BC.
