Asset Overview

The Sæbø sword (also known as the Thurmuth sword) is an early 9th-century Viking sword, found in a barrow at Sæbø, Vikøyri, in Norway's Sogn region in 1825. It is now held at the Bergen Museum in Bergen, Norway. My reference https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S%C3%A6b%C3%B8_sword // Scabbard is faced with linen, as shown in Frankish sources
