The chapel in Obritz with a profiled cornice and gable cross was first mentioned in a document in 1782. After the liberation of the peasants in 1849, the chapel grille and a picture of St. Filomena were removed by the Counts of Hardegg and destined for the newly built chapel in Kadolz. Since the 2nd half of the 19th century, the chapel has been cared for by the Schnitzer family and also bears this name.
