Предмет найден Юрием Дмитриевым вместе с останками жертв расстрелов периода Большого террора (1937-1938 гг.) в черте г. Петрозаводск (Карелия) в конце 1980-х гг. На одной из сторон есть фабричная надпись, где местом производства указаны США. Вероятно, принадлежал одному из финнов, вернувшихся в Карелию из эмиграции в Америку в 1930-х. The wallet was found by Yuri Dmitriev along with the remains of the victims of the Great Terror (1937-1938) in the city of Petrozavodsk (Karelia, Russia) in the late 1980s. Factory inscription mentions USA as the place of manufacture.
