Asset Overview

Silvain, 2nd century, Italy, Marble, at Musee du Cinquantenaire (Brussel, Belgium). 3D scan made with Memento Beta. Silvain, god of forest and field, is represented following a classic type of Greek statue, the same used for the very well known Doryphore of Polyclete. The Roman sculptor has added a tunic, a goat cloak et fruit on the left arm. The head was with beard, the right holding a bill-hook, and a dog was close to the foot.
