An upright slab is built into the S wall of this graveyard at NN 58519 09814. On close examination by eye , two incised lines almost at right angles to the top left can been seen. The 3D model reveals the feint trace of a cross covering the entire stone.
The slab was found during the restoration of the chapel in 1971 an 11th -13th century date is suggested for it. A 1987 survey of the graveyard by WOSAS stated 'A much weathered graveslab, tapered in shape, is built into the south wall of the graveyard. No cross is visible'.
