Giuseppe Gardini was a doctor, a philosopher, a phisicist and a teacher who lived in Piedmont in the 18th century.
He has been one of the first in Piedmont who promoted smallpox vaccine. He has been persecuted and imprisoned because of his early studies in the field of physics and medicine.
