Statue of Hugh Myddelton

A statue of Hugh Myddelton (1560–1631) and fountains at the south end of Islington Green, Upper Street, London. Hugh Myddelton is best remembered as the "driving force behind the construction of the New River" in the 17th Century. The New River supplied water into central London.
