Asset Overview

Limestone stela from the 18th Dynasty tomb of Horemheb at Saqqara, Egypt. This is a cast in the tomb of the original which is in the British Museum, Lodon (BM551). Horemheb had this tomb constructed while he was the General of the Armies of Pharaoh, prior to becoming King Horemheb following the reigns of Tutankhamen and Aye at the end of the 18th Dynasty. The tomb was originally discovered in the 19th century, but its location was lost until its rediscovery in the 1970s. Created from 140 photographs (Canon EOS Rebel T5i, 18MP) using Metashape Professional 1.5.4.
