Asset Overview
An unknown type of stemmed chert projectile point recovered from the Osage River in Missouri. The point type and temporal affiliation is unknown. This artifact was acquired by the Natural History Society of Maryland during the 1930s or 1940s, but the markings on the projectile point suggests it was collected in 1860 (unconfirmed). Courtesy of the Natural History Society of Maryland which has given permission for the model to be downloadable for non-commercial educational purposes.
