Asset Overview
Throughout January 2019 Wessex Archaeology’s Sheffield fieldwork team excavated the former Porter Island Works in Sheffield city centre. This drone photogrammetry model shows the uncovered remains of the grinding workshop. Around 30 grinding stones were found during the excavations.
