Asset Overview

**Welcome to [The Hallwyl Museum](https://goo.gl/qbZSY4) in Stockholm, Sweden.** Once the home of [Walther](https://goo.gl/79nUeT) and [Wilhelmina von Hallwyl](https://goo.gl/Y8iiJs). After a formal dinner, the ladies would retire to the small drawing room for drinks and conversation. The room was only used on special occasions; normally the doors would have been closed. The room is based on a 1760s [Rococo](https://goo.gl/Uymjmm) interior at the manor house Äs, one of several country homes that belonged to the Hallwyl family. In the late 19th century, the style was considered feminine, with its soft, curvaceous forms. It was therefore suitable for a ladies’ drawing room or boudoir. In a grand home at the turn of the 20th century, rooms were generally gender separated. Some of the interiors were designed for the ladies, and others for men. ![](https://i.imgur.com/4bwdMxM.jpg) The images for this project were captured using an [array](https://goo.gl/ePHjDr) of four Panasonic Lumix GX8 cameras.
