This monument is actually of two parts with the stone cadaver previously being on the floor of the cathedral and probably dating to the 15th Century.
The plaque behind is for a monument to "Thomas Cure (d. 1588), saddler to Edward VI, Mary and Elizabeth, warden of St Saviour’s, Southwark, and a member of parliament".
