An unglazed [earthenware](http://vocab.getty.edu/page/aat/300140803) [money-box](http://vocab.getty.edu/page/aat/300429223), the body is spheroid in shape with a narrow base and a flattened knob on top. There is a slit near the knob where coins can be inserted.
