Asset Overview
Designed in the event of a klingon hot war, that ultimatley never occured. The akagi is leaner and bulkier than most ships of her era, this is due to the need for reduced weak spots, as klingon ships made short work of the necks of cruisers.
With more space in her hull it also reduced the chances of damaging the warp core. The Akagi and her sisters served from the 2280's, well into the 2330's, and laid the foundation for some of the tech of the excelsior class cruisers.
(This isnt the best thing in the world, its my 6th or 7th ship. Has no windows or registry and very little detail in the saucer. more to be looked at for fun and feedback )
