Vanguard Exploration Project Structure IV: Water Collection & Purification Hub The Water Collection & Purification Hub is essential to the sustainability of human, animal, and plant life on foreign planets. Though water may be available, it must be cleaned of its pollutants, radiation, or extraneous mineral deposits prior to safe, potable use. The Occulus is situated on the northern face of the Hub and draws ambient light to its power pumps, chilling and heating systems, and of course, filtration processes. Byproducts such as heavy metals and minerals are sorted, saved, then collected at the Hub's utility port.
