Asset Overview
I also uploaded this 3D scan in lower resolution, but with the surroundings : https://sketchfab.com/models/2a16d71b1df74ff5a3297b5c6203d478
Created by Paul Moreau-Vauthier, this work of art was created in 1909, supposedly using stones from the Communards' Wall (more information : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communards%27_Wall ) where 147 fighters of the Paris Commune were shot and buried in 1871.
It seems, though, that the idea this monument has anything to do with the Paris Commune is disputed http://en.rfi.fr/visiting-france/20110106-truth-buried-paris-cemetery-sculpture-mistook-famous-wall ). It is located outside the Père Lachaise cemetery.
Don't hesitate to use the inspection tools : using a Matcap shader will reveal interesting details.
