Figurine of a cricketer, c 1867. Large figure in biscuit parian porcelain of a batsman preparing to bat in a game of cricket. Also includes a wooden bat and metal stumps. Made by Minton in Stoke on Trent around 1867. 3D model digitised from an original object in the collections of Royal Pavilion & Museums, Brighton & Hove. Digitisation conducted by the University of Brighton's Cultural Informatics Group as part of work supporting the creation of the Hove Plinth on the Brighton & Hove seafront.
