Asset Overview
This is a 3D interpretation of a complete 'Viking' drinking vessel / jar based on glass sherds found in excavations of Kaupang, Norway, and the shape of glass jars discovered in at Valsgarde and Birka, Sweden. Most of the glass was coloured blue or blue-green, probably with copper mineral. The vertical *reticella* rods came in a variety of styles and colours: white, multi-rodded, and multi-coloured. Sherds that are supposed to make up vessel 'SF-2' on whch this is based have a white core with red twists.
The base has an approximately 8cm diametre.
