This Class I Pictish (300-900AD) Symbol Stone was found at a depth of 2 feet when a gentlemen was digging his garden at Wester Balblair, Beauly, Inverness-shire in 1969. The stone measures 2' 4" long by 1' 6" wide and 4 1/2" thick. The stone exhibits a crescent and V-rod and three oval symbols.
