Winchester Palace Ruins

The ruins of a 12th-century palace of the Bishops of Winchester located on Pickford's Wharf, near Southwark Cathedral, London. The ruins were lost in the 17th Century as warehouses built up around them but then rediscovered in the 19th Century and revealed during redevelopment in the 1980s. The rear of the tall section of free standing wall is inside a glass corridor/stairwell with no public access. Hence the capture is poor quality in that area.
