Asset Overview

An incomplete copper alloy figurine of Post Medieval dating (AD 1750 to AD 1900). Around 75% of the figurine is present as it is missing both legs. The figurine is wearing a large rounded hat, possibly a coat or doublet on his body. His face is unclear. His right arm is held across his body and he is holding a tankard in his hand. His left arm is held behind his back at right angles. Breeches are present to cover the top of the legs. The reverse shows the back of the coat or doublet lifted up by his left arm. An oval hole is present in the middle of his back. For more information, please visit the online database record available at: https://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/1073150
