Asset Overview

A complete copper alloy terret ring or harness fitting of the Late Iron Age to Early Roman period, dating from c. BC 150 - c. AD 100. The ring is circular in plan and broadly circular in section. It is convex on the outside edge and flattened slightly on the inner edge. The ring is heavily abraded all over the surface, but abrasion is less on the inner edge.
