Asset Overview

A possible Medieval three dimensional copper alloy and gilded figure dating to circa AD 1200-1500. The figure is seated holding a globe in the left hand which is resting on the persons knee. The right hand appears to be broken. The figure has long hair to the shoulders. The figure has a long skirt which falls to the ankles with drapery around the shoulders which is held together on the chest with a circular fastening. The object is flat at the bottom so it can stand. The reverse is flat and appears to have the remains of two circular rivets which means it may have once been attached to another object.
