Wmid-c4c63b - Medieval buckle strap plate

An incomplete copper alloy strap plate or strap end of the Medieval period, dating from c. AD 1200 - c. AD 1500. Around 50% of the plate is present, consisting an incomplete folded sheet of copper alloy metal. Neither top or bottom plate are complete, the only original edge is the fold. There is no pin slot, nor has it been recessed for the buckle frame. One attachment rivet hole is present, just below the folded edge. It has an internal diameter of 1.3 mm.
