The workhorse of the crash fleet for more than two decades, the Oshkosh P-4 was air-transportable on a C-130 Hercules and could be adapted for fighting either aircraft or structural fires. Air Force firefighters loved the air conditioned crew compartment and the ease with which its Allison Torquematic Transmission operated. One of 334 P-4s delivered to the DoD, the truck modeled here last served with the Delaware National Guard.
