The launch customer for the A350 is Qatar Airways, which ordered 80 aircraft (all three variants). The prototype A350 first flew on 14 June 2013 at Toulouse-Blagnac, France. The first type certificate was issued on 30 September 2014 European aviation safety Agency on the variant of the A350-900 with Rolls-Royce Trent XWB.
