Alternative Universe Spitfire

For my vehicle I decided to make a futuristic plane. I used references of fighter jets to get the color and tail end and from there decided to go for something futuristic. The main wings that are normally longer and pointed backward on fighter jets, are shorter and straighter on this one. I felt if they were longer it would look goofy or not structurally sound with the intakes on the side. The way I designed this plane is that the engine is in the front as you can tell by the grille and exhaust ports on the side. The tubes on the ends of the wings are the intakes and jets. They suck in air from the front and force it out through the back. There will be a hole on the inside of the tube that allows the air to get sucked into the engine. The engine runs everything else in the ship like the controls and mechanical bits inside the intake tubes. There is also a 50 cal. Machine gun in the front of the plane so it can be used for aerial combat.
